Have you got old pairs
of boots that cost a fortune, were worn for just a
few months then discarded when they got too small?
Well, to assist with constantly having to pay out
for new football boots, Gosport Falcons have
commenced a 'Boot Exchange' programme.
Basically we are asking members to donate pairs of
boots, which are no longer worn and in "good
condition", to the Club.
These will be cleaned and offered for re-use, for a
very modest donation, to Club members only. This
has two advantages; it helps raise funds for the
Club and at the same time re-cycles those nearly new
boots helping fellow Club members.
To donate a pair of boots, just give them to your
Team manager who will pass them on.
Alternatively you can give them to a member working
in the Club-house on Sunday mornings.
There are 4 things that we ask before handing them
in;
l Ensure
that they are clean
l Check
that NO studs are missing or damaged
l
Ensure that the boots themselves are not ripped
l
Check they are a pair (we don't have too many one
legged players)
How it works:
Once the boots have been checked and are
suitable for use, they will be placed on this page
of of our website with a description, and when
possible, a photo. If there is a pair of boots
that you want and have a pair that can be exchanged
then there will be a modest charge of £2.50p or a £5.00p
charge if you have none to exchange.
When:
The Boot Exchange service will only be
available on the FIRST Sunday of each month
from 10:00 to 12.00, unless a pair of boots are
urgently required. In this case please use one of
the contact points below.
Where:
The Club-House, Monckton Sports Field, Fort Rd,
Gosport.
