All FA coaching courses now have mandatory child protection and best practice workshops within them, and all county FA’s now have a designated County Welfare Officer.  Hampshire FA’s County  Welfare Officer is; Eric Trengove. He can be contacted on 01256 853016 or by email at; CountyWO@HampshireFA.com

The FA takes very seriously the issue of child welfare.  The FA believes that every child who plays football should be able to participate in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from abuse.  It also believes that children have the right to be protected from abuse regardless of their age, gender, disability culture, language, racial origin, religious beliefs or sexual identity.  Above all the child’s welfare is, and must always be, the paramount consideration in everything we aim to do in football.

If you have any concern or issues regarding child welfare please contact Pauline immediately or alternatively contact Hampshire FA's Child Welfare Officer.

    Safeguarding Children Policy

Gosport Falcons Football Club acknowledges its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of every child and young person who has been entrusted to its care and is committed to working to provide a safe
environment for all members.  A child or young person is anyone under the age of 18 engaged in any club football activity.  We subscribe to The Football Association’s Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedures and endorse and adopt the Policy Statement contained in that document.     CRB Guidance

CRBs from another agency, which a member may have as part of their work or other voluntary activity, are not transferable between agencies  under current rules.  The FA require their own CRB process and this is
'transferable' between FA clubs.  The CRB usually last for 3 years, at which time they have to be re-newed.
